What Baptism Is

A Public Yes

Baptism does not save you. Your yes to Jesus does that. Baptism is the picture of it. You go down into the water like the old life is being buried, and you come up out of it raised into something new. Paul put it just like that in Romans.

This is your decision, made by you, not made for you when you were a baby. If your folks had you dedicated as a kid, that was them committing to raise you in faith. Baptism is you stepping up and saying you are all in for yourself now.

It is one of the most powerful things you will ever do, and it happens with your church family cheering you on. Not a quiet private thing. A whole room watching you go public.

Romans 6:4

"We were buried with him through baptism into death, so that we too may live a new life."

You Sign Up

You Get Baptized

On the day, you change into dry clothes after, share a quick word if you want to, and go under the water while the whole church celebrates with you.

You Start Fresh

You come up new. Grab photos with the people who came out for you, and walk forward knowing your church is right there with you.

Quick Questions

What should I wear and bring?
Wear something you do not mind getting wet, a dark shirt and shorts work great. Bring a towel and a full change of dry clothes. We will point you to where you can change before and after.
Do I need to be a member first?
No. You do not need to be a member or a regular. If you have said yes to Jesus and you want to go public with it, you are ready. Sign up and we take it from there.
I was baptized as a baby. Do I do this again?
A lot of people choose to. Being baptized as a baby was someone else's faith on your behalf. This is you making the call for yourself, as your own public yes to following Jesus. If you want that, come on.
Can my kids get baptized too?
Yes, as long as they understand what they are doing and they want it for themselves. We will have a quick chat with them first to make sure it is their own choice. Sign them up and we will connect with you.
