Everything that sounds like heaven flows from this church and this ministry. That is what our name means. That is what we are here to do. The worship team carries that sound, every Sunday, every gathering, bringing the experiences of heaven down to earth.
We believe worship is a vital part of every believer's daily walk. It changes the atmosphere. It moves prophetically. It fights for us when we cannot fight for ourselves. And it gives back to God the one thing that is rightfully His. Our worship. Our adoration.
When the room enters worship, the supernatural shows up.
When the season gets heavy, when the diagnosis comes, when the bills pile up, when nothing makes sense, we worship. Worship is not a soundtrack for our lives. It is warfare. It wars on our behalf when we have nothing left.
Worship is the only thing we can return to God that is already rightfully His. Our adoration. Our voices. Our hands lifted. It is the one offering He has been waiting for from us. Every Sunday is a chance to give Him what is His.
When the atmosphere of heaven enters the room, the supernatural moves. Healing. Breakthrough. Freedom. The worship leader at the front is not the only one worshipping. They are the person at the front of the line leading everybody else in.
Worship at Sound of Heaven is carried by leaders who have been worshipping for years, decades in some cases. This is not a stage. It is a calling.
I am not here to perform a song. I am here to lead the room into the presence of God. That is the whole job.
Rebekah is the Worship Pastor of Sound of Heaven. She leads the heart and direction of everything we do musically. A multi-instrumentalist, she leads from behind the drums, with a guitar in her hands, and on almost anything else you put in front of her.
Rebekah also leads our Media Team, which means she is bouncing back and forth on Sunday morning between worshipping at the front and making sure the message travels everywhere it needs to go.
Beyond Sound of Heaven, Rebekah ministers across Long Island at different churches through her music, her worship, and the gifting God has placed on her life.
Rachel leads on vocals and is grounded right here at Sound of Heaven as one of the pastors of the church. She supports Rebekah in leading the room, anchoring our sound with her voice and her steady presence on the front.
Celeste has been leading worship for over forty years across different churches and ministries. She brings that long-haul experience and handles much of the worship ministry administration. A seasoned worshipper anchoring the team.
Together, they lead a team of vocalists and musicians who have been worshipping the Lord for years. The sound on Sunday is the result of all of them.
