Our prayer ministry is simple. People bring what they are carrying, and we pray. Not a quick nod in the lobby. Real prayer, by name, with people who keep praying after you go home.

How We Pray

Every request that comes in through the website is read and prayed over by name. Not batched. Not skimmed. Somebody holds your name before God and keeps holding it.

Every Third Wednesday · 7 PM

Once a month we clear the calendar and do nothing but pray. Night of Prayer is led by Elder Renee Joseph, and it is one of the most honest rooms you will ever walk into. Some people pray out loud. Some kneel. Some sit in the back and cry, and that is welcome too.

We pray for the sick, for marriages, for kids who have wandered, and for people walking through things nobody else sees. We pray for Deer Park and for Long Island. And we pray expecting God to answer, because the Kingdom is here and He is already at work.

Your Request

here is exactly what happensFrom Your Hands To Ours.

A lot of people have sent a prayer request somewhere and wondered if anyone ever read it. Here, someone does. This is the path every single request takes.

01

You Send It

Use the form on this page or our prayer request page. Share as much or as little as you want. A first name is enough.

02

It Gets Read

A member of our prayer team reads it. Not a bot, not an inbox nobody checks. A real person who goes to this church and cares what happens to you.

03

We Pray By Name

Your request is prayed over by name. We keep praying. Not once and done.

04

We Follow Up

If you want a call or a sit-down, say so and someone will reach out. If you need more than prayer, our pastoral care team is right there.

Why We Pray

not to get His attentionHe Is Already Listening.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:6

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

James 5:16

Prayer is not how we get God to notice us. Jesus already showed us a Father who notices the sparrow. Prayer is how we come close and partner with what He is already doing. When we pray for healing, for peace, or for a family to come back together, we are asking for exactly what Jesus showed us the Father wants. If you want to go deeper, read about the different types of prayer in Scripture.

Prayer Request

two words or two pagesTell Us What To Pray For.

There is no wrong way to ask for prayer. You can write a single sentence or the whole story. You can leave your last name off. The only thing we ask is that you let us carry it with you.

If it is easier to talk than type, call the church and leave a message. Someone will get it.
